At Kai Xiang Huat, we firmly believe in the importance of food safety, workplace hygiene and ensuring the freshness of our produce. We continuously strive to improve our business processes and quality controls to deliver better services to our clients. 

Since 2020, Kai Xiang Huat has attained the internationally recognized ISO 22000:2018 certification. This standard specifies the requirements for a comprehensive food safety management system, as well as incorporating the elements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP). Prior to attaining ISO 22000, Kai Xiang Huat had been HACCP certified since 2014.

 

Additionally, we work closely with our clients to ensure we comply with their vendor / supplier quality audits.

Kai Xiang Huat is family-run and proudly Singaporean. We recognise that as an SME, we play a part in contributing to the local economy. We are also taking steps towards becoming a socially and environmentally responsible organisation. 

 

As part of giving back to society, Kai Xiang Huat provides regular in-kind donations of our fresh fruit produce to non-profit partners. Currently, we donate a weekly supply of fresh fruits to a residential home for teenagers, to support their nutritional needs. We also contribute to food rescue groups and food banks when they collect "ugly foods" from Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre. This reduces food waste and helps those in need in our community.

To support our clients' Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals, we have also began tracking our sustainability data and will progressively take steps to further optimise our operations and reduce our environmental footprint.
